Thank you for helping us maintain CNET’s great community. After Windows 7 x64 installed its own driver. I did a quick check and it appeared that I had the latest very old device. Device manager says the Ethernet controller is working, but I can’t get it to look for an updated driver for obvious reasons. Sorry, there was a problem flagging this post.

Bdoadcom can confirm that there is a bug in broadom Creators Update that affects the compatibility with the Broadcom x driver. You then get those required drivers. If you’re connected to the internet, Single click on the Device with the Yellow?!

I do not normally suggest this route but since the original drivers are gone, this will solve the problem without having to figure it out on your own. In the Device Manager is see these things with a yellow?! Since your WiFi is now working properly, we suggest updating all the device drivers.

After Windows 7 x64 installed its own driver. I’ve been trying to find a driver bbroadcom another computer, but so far have failed. Any ideas or suggestion welcome. In reply to Anne Ros’s post on May 21, The WiFi came back up, but the Broadcom is still disabled.

This thread is locked. Likely saving me alot of time. It found and installed all of the drivers needed to make the computer run great. I already suggested you install PC Wizard which will tell you what you have or at least alot of it.
Perhaps not the best suggestion to start a new thread as there was already a thread with a MSFT engineer who acknowledges the bug: I can’t get a grip on download the drivers off the Dell Site. When I use the Service Tag on the tower it just gives me one driver to update.
